Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is considered an easy to moderate trek, making it ideal for beginners, families, and travelers with limited trekking experience. The trail includes some steep stone staircases and uphill sections, but no technical climbing is required. Average walking time ranges from 4–6 hours per day.

The highest point of the trek is Poon Hill at 3,210 meters (10,531 feet) above sea level. From the viewpoint, trekkers can enjoy breathtaking sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

The best seasons are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). During these months, the weather is generally stable, mountain views are clear, and the rhododendron forests are in full bloom during spring.
